About Samantha Shorthose Nail Education
How I Started
My journey into the nail industry began in a 9–5 corporate role. While I had stability, I knew I wanted more — more freedom, creativity, and control over my future.
After training in nails, I committed fully to building my own business. Within six months, I had a fully booked diary and made the decision to leave my corporate career behind. Through consistency, high standards, and dedication to my clients, I built a successful nail business — and within three years, progressed into education.
Today, my nail education business is built on one clear mission:
To provide high-quality, supportive training that equips aspiring and existing nail technicians with real skills, confidence, and long-term success.
I do not believe in rushed courses or quick certificates. I believe in strong foundations, correct technique, industry standards, and ongoing support. My training is designed to ensure you leave not only qualified, but competent and confident.
My Core Values
Quality Over Quantity
Every student receives focused attention and thorough guidance. I prioritise understanding and mastery over speed.
Support Beyond the Classroom
Learning does not stop at the end of the training day. I offer continued guidance because building confidence takes time and reassurance.
Integrity and Professional Standards
Correct preparation, safe practice, and maintaining high industry standards are at the heart of everything I teach.
Empowerment Through Education
I am passionate about helping others create opportunities for themselves — whether that means starting a side business, leaving a 9–5 role, or expanding existing services.
I understand what it feels like to want a change, to take a risk, and to build something from the ground up. That experience shapes the way I teach — with honesty, structure, encouragement, and real-world insight.
If you are ready to invest in your skills, elevate your standards, and build a business you are proud of, I would be honoured to support you on that journey.
